📅Course Dates & Format

👥Who This Course Is For
This course is ideal for students who have completed our Complete Beginner German class—or have equivalent experience.

If you can already introduce yourself, ask and answer basic questions, and are familiar with present tense verb forms and sentence structure, this class is for you. We’ll pick up where you left off and help you expand your vocabulary, improve your accuracy, and increase your comfort speaking.

Perfect for learners in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose, Napa, and surrounding areas who want to take their German to the next level in a relaxed, small-group setting.

🎯What You’ll Learn

In this class, you’ll strengthen your foundational skills and deepen your knowledge of key grammar and vocabulary topics. You’ll learn how to:

  • Talk about the past using the Perfekt tense

  • Describe your surroundings, experiences, and preferences

  • Make plans and express future intentions

  • Build longer and more natural sentences

  • Improve listening and pronunciation through real-life dialogue practice

🗣️ Interactive group activities, speaking drills, role-playing, and guided conversation are all part of the learning experience.

Grammar and vocabulary are always rooted in realistic contexts—travel, work, daily life—so you can use what you learn right away.

✅By the End of the Course, You’ll Be Able To:

  • Have fuller, more fluid conversations in German

  • Talk about past events and future plans

  • Use modal verbs and connect ideas more clearly

  • Feel more confident listening and responding in real time

  • Be ready for Intermediate German or continued study
