Accessible to students in Berkeley, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Napa, and beyond
Dates: May 6th to June 10th
Schedule: Wednesdays, 5:00pm – 6:00pm (PST)
Format: Weekly live sessions via Zoom
Class size: 3–6 students
If only two students enroll, the course will still run but will be shortened to five weeks instead of the usual six.

In this course, you’ll begin developing practical communication skills in French, focusing on everyday situations and usable grammar from day one. You’ll learn how to:
Introduce yourself and greet others confidently
Ask and answer basic questions
Talk about daily routines and personal interests
Order food and navigate common travel situations
Understand essential sentence structure and verb conjugation
Build accurate pronunciation and listening skills through guided practice
🗣️ Classes include interactive exercises, guided conversations, role-playing activities, pronunciation practice, and short dialogues designed to help you start speaking immediately.
Grammar is always taught in context so you can actively use French rather than memorize rules in isolation.
Participate in simple conversations in French

Ask and answer everyday questions with confidence
Understand foundational grammar structures
