Our Intensive Beginner French course is designed for motivated complete beginners who want to make significant progress in a short amount of time.
This is an ideal option for students preparing for travel, study abroad, or simply looking to jumpstart their French skillswith a fast, immersive learning experience. No prior knowledge is needed, but a strong commitment to consistent practice and participation is encouraged.
In just six weeks, students will complete the equivalent of:
Our Complete Beginner French course
Two terms of Low Beginner
One term of High Beginner
🎯 What You’ll Learn
Over 24 hours of in-person instruction, you’ll cover a broad range of practical, real-world French essentials including:
Introducing yourself, sharing personal information, and asking questions
Talking about hobbies, routines, likes/dislikes, and family
Ordering food, shopping, making plans, asking for directions
Understanding numbers, dates, time, and common signage
Holding short conversations in present tense
Applying grammar rules to form correct, complete sentences
🧠 Grammar Topics Include:
Present tense of regular and irregular verbs (être, avoir, aller, faire)
Question formation (using est-ce que, inversion, and quel)
Gender and number agreement of nouns and adjectives
Definite and indefinite articles
Basic prepositions and sentence structure fundamentals
Forming negative sentences for everyday use
Throughout the course, you’ll also explore key aspects of French culture — etiquette, gestures, meal customs, and more — to build not just fluency, but connection.

Hold basic conversations with native speakers
Navigate travel and everyday social situations in French
