Course Objectives: German 1 is intended for students without any previous knowledge of German. The course will focus on a combination of reading, writing, and speaking activities, and provide insight into some cultural aspects of Germany and other German-speaking countries. After completing the course, you should be able to understand and produce basic phrases and sentences about yourself and others, as well as simple sentences in short texts.
